The burl wood face is what sold me, and in person it looks even better than the photos. It swallows my four cards plus a folded bill with zero bulk in my front pocket, and the aluminum body hasn't loosened up at all after a month of daily use.
I was skeptical about swapping my bulky bifold for this, but the aluminum frame keeps it featherlight in my front pocket. The burl wood face adds a classy touch that gets compliments, and it easily holds three cards and a folded bill without feeling tight.
The burl wood grain on this one is stunning in person, and it’s surprisingly light for being aluminum underneath. I load it with three cards and a folded bill, and it still slides into my front pocket without any bulk.
