We hebben de duigplanken opnieuw gezaagd in dunne plakjes, waardoor de textuur en nerf die erin verborgen zaten zichtbaar werden. Het hout draagt nog steeds die warme mix van witte eik en whiskey, met een subtiel aroma dat elk mes het gevoel geeft dat het van iets bijzonders komt. Het is robuust, rijk en vol geschiedenis. Een stukje van het verleden van het vat, verwerkt in een mes dat gemaakt is om mee te dragen.
