Wasn't sure how the wood and resin would actually look together in person, but the burl grain runs right up against the purple swirl like it was poured that way. The machined aluminum edge is so smooth it doesn't catch on my sleeve at all, and the burl wood grain in mine looks completely different from the photos in the best way. Genuinely feels like a one of a kind piece on my wrist.

The purple resin swirls in mine are deeper than the photos suggested, and the aluminum edge is machined smooth with no sharp spots against my wrist. It's light enough to forget I'm wearing it, but the burl wood grain makes it feel like a real piece, not a mass-produced thing.
